Crystal Nichole Campbell

Crystal Nichole Campbell, 26, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1991 in Iredell County to Keith Randall "Randy" Campbell and Sytonia Cain Campbell. Crystal was an honors graduate of North Iredell High School and attended Mitchell College. She was a member of South River Baptist Church. Crystal was a very compassionate person who had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed but the family is thankful that their angel has flown home. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Randy and Sytonia; a sister, Ashden Campbell and her fiancee' Justin Benge; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Connie Campbell; maternal grandparents, Bud and Bernice Chamberlain; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins; her special friend, Danny Patterson; and her loving, faithful sidekick, Sabina. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Hager and Pastor Mark Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the South River Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Danny Patterson, Joey Wall, Justin Benge, Michael Pharr, Bobby Mason, and Scott McGinnis. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:45 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Iredell County Humane Society.
