Conrad "Vance" Owen

Conrad "Vance" Owen, 40, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Vance was a quiet and peaceful man. He was one who preferred to work behind the scenes. He found joy in his never-ending quest to eliminate the world of zombies, one at a time; one game at a time. A difficult battle that was, but now he can rest.

Vance was born in Greenville, SC on April 27, 1980 to the late Cecil Wayne and Nancy Jo Young Owen. He attended Statesville High School and was formerly employed as an order picker with J.C. Penney Distribution.

Due to the current restrictions with the Covid-19, there will be a private graveside service scheduled in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to help offset funeral costs to Vance Owen Memorial Fund, c/o Nicholson Funeral Home, 135 E.
