Clyde Parsons, Jr.

THOMASVILLE-Mr. Clyde Parsons, 76, of Thomasville, NC passed away April 7, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The son of the late Clyde and Lillie Collins Parsons, Mr. Parsons was employed by Thomasville Furniture Industries for over 30 years as a Furniture Carver and loved his work. Clyde proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam war and earned his Purple Heart there. He loved gospel music and watching old-time movies and westerns. He loved to fish in his spare time and traveling with his brother Charlie on gambling excursions. In addition to his parents, Mr. Parsons is preceded in death by his brother Terry Lee Parson, sister Betty Jo Lowman, and sister-in-law Lyvita Floyd Parson. Left to cherish his memories are his sister Ruth Leon of Thomasville, brother Roy Parson of Trinity, brother Charles Parson of Thomasville, brother-in-law Willie Lee Lowman of Thomasville, and several nieces and nephews.
