Clyde James Wolfe

Clyde James Wolfe, age 79, of Sherrills Ford passed away November 25, 2020 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1941 in Smithfield, Pennsylvania the son of the late Clyde James Wolfe Sr. and Helen Mae Kingan Wolfe. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Lee Wolfe.

Clyde was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend time fishing and camping, especially on the river or at Lake Norman. He enjoyed wood working, building things for his family and was very talented with his hands. Most of all he was devoted to his family and cherished spending time with them and loved his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 55 years, Beatrice Geelen Wolfe; daughter, Kim Wolfe McClelland and husband Jamie; grandchildren, Ryan McClelland (Taylor), Bailey McClelland (Cody Hartzell); brothers, Robert Wolfe and Ronald Wolfe; and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
