Clyde Felker

Clyde Ketchie Felker, 79, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 22, 1933 in Davie County and was the son of the late Robert C. Felker and Essie Seamon Felker. Clyde married Anna Lee Kearns Felker on February 28, 1953 and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with G.L. Wilson and after 28 years of service, he co-founded F&F Builders. He continued to operate F&F Builders until his health would no longer allow. In addition to his wife Anna Lee Felker, of Statesville, he is survived by a daughter, Carol Felker Johnson (Benny), of Stony Point, one granddaughter, Angela Ramsey (Adam), of Statesville, two grandsons, David Johnson (Heather), of Stony Point, and Chris Johnson, of Stony Point. He is also survived by two great grandsons, Kyle Johnson, of Stony Point, and Micah Ramsey, of Statesville along with one sister, Faye F. Duncan, of Statesville. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, February 22, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Ervel Jones and Rev. Charles Cook officiating. A private family burial will follow immediately following the service. The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
