Clarence Eugene Fraley, Jr. died Sunday, October 7, 2018 following a long illness. A memorial service will be held October 27, Saturday, 2:00 PM at the Statesville ARP Presbyterian Church, led by The Reverend Phillip McCoy. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall for the family to receive friends.







Clarence Eugene, "Sonny" was one of three children born to Clarence Eugene and Frances Alexander Fraley in Statesville, NC



In addition to his wife, Charlotte Rowe Fraley, survivors are a sister, Prudence Strong and husband, Alan Strong of Greensboro, NC; a daughter, Martha Cecile Fraley and husband, Donald Scott of Durango, CO; a son, Alexander Eugene Fraley and wife, Tammy Fraley of Durango, CO; a step-son, Bernard Joseph Kelley and wife, Elizabeth Kelley of Asheville, NC; six grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew and many cousins.







Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Joan Etherington and her husband, John Etherington.

Visitation at the Nicholson Funeral Home will be held on Friday, the 26th of October from 6 PM TO 8 PM.
