Clarence Burke

Clarence Burke, 82, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence Houchins and Rachel Burke.

He served in the US Army and retired from the City of Statesville Electric Department. He was a member of Monticello Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Burke, sons, Jerry Burke (Connie), Ricky Burke (Jeannie), stepdaughter, Cathy Mitchell (Jody), stepson, Roger Miller, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews; all of whom he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Monticello Baptist Church on Taylorsville Highway with Rev. Glenn Dancy and Rev. William Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service.

The family appreciates the loving care given by Amanda from Home Instead and the staff at Gordon Hospice House.
