Charlotte Ruth Moore

Charlotte Ruth Ladd Moore, 70, of Hiddenite, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on July 15, 1946 to the late Layton G. and Thelma Ruth Miller Ladd. Charlotte attended Iredell County Schools and was married to Lonnie George "LG" Moore who preceded her in death on February 1, 2003. She was of Baptist Faith and worked in the furniture industry most of her career. Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Gary Moore (Daphane) and Charles Moore (Tonya); two daughters, Donna Ellis and Tricia Moore; a sister, Kathy Inscoe; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Nicholson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, June 5, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House.
