THOMASVILLE-Mr. Charles William Pace, 65, of Thomasville, NC passed away August 27, 2021 at Hospice of Davidson County. Mr. Pace was born in Virginia Beach, Va. on August 12, 1956 to the late James Henry and Jurlene Byers Pace and was employed by Russell Collier Concrete Repair as a technician. Charles was a very low-key individual and would make no big production out of anything. To him, the simplest way was the best way. He could fix anything and loved wood working, loved Christmas decorating, and loved travelling with his favorite destination being Gatlinburg where he and his wife honeymooned. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pace is preceded in death by three brothers James, John, and Tommy Pace. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 12 years Mary Ellen Jennings Pace of the home, three children Lindsey Pace (Jackson) of Lexington, NC, Adam Haynes (Shanon) of Claudeville, Va., and Seth Haynes (Anika) of Christiansburg, Va., four grandchildren Ayden Farmer, Bradley Farmer, Shyanne Hicks, and Nakoma Hicks, two sisters Gloria New (Neal) of Asheboro, NC and Lori Gardner (Terry) of Birmingham, AL, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends and caregivers Deborah Miller, Kara Webster, and Russell Collier. A memorial service for Mr. Pace will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Wellspring Community Church, 600 May Road, Thomasville, NC. Visitation will be begin at 2 pm with memorial service to follow at 3 pm. The family requests that memorial donations be made to B&B Funeral & Cremation Services to offset funeral costs.
