Charles Timothy Thayer

Charles Timothy Thayer, 67 of Thomasville passed away on August 13, 2021. He was born March 12, 1954, the youngest child of Charles Lawrence Thayer and Anne Lenora Canter Thayer. Charles has been a lifelong resident of Thomasville and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Trinity, NC. He was retired and previously worked in furniture and insulation. On February 27, 1974, he married Pamela Sue Davis. Charles enjoyed all of nature - hiking in the forest, swimming in the river, visiting the beach, good music, good food, and loved his family very deeply. He was a humorous, down-to-earth man who will be greatly missed by his family. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Pam Thayer, daughter Rebecca Thayer, granddaughters, Alison Curd, Brooke Hughes and husband Jacob, and Sara Curd, sister, Cathy Welborn, brother, Greg Thayer. Memorial service will be on Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 at Mt. Zion UMC, 2354 Finch Farm Road, Trinity, NC 27370.
