Charles Stephen Merrill

Mr. Charles Charlie Stephen Merrill, 31, passed away on Sunday January 5, 2020 in Statesville, NC. Charlie was a resident of Liberty, North Carolina. He was a beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend that loved his job and co-workers, spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and making everyone laugh. Charlie was predeceased in death by his biological parents Stephen and Susan Merrill, grandparents James and Nancy Merrill, and Uncle Mackey Wardlaw. He is survived by his wife Kristina Merrill and two children Elliott Merrill and Aryiana Starr. Also surviving him are his mother Donna Merrill, in-laws Amy and Darren Poston and James Oldham, brothers Joshua Merrill, Matthew McBride, and Aaron McBride, sister Cassi (Kevin) Reece, uncle Jimmy Merrill, aunts Rhonda Kindley and Tina Stone, Niece Autumn Brannock, and many cousins. A gathering of friends will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, January 11, at Wellspring Community Church in Thomasville. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to assist with service cost.
