Charles Howard Kyles

Mr. Charles Howard Kyles, 81, of Statesville, passed away, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House. Mr. Kyles was born February 20, 1935 in Statesville, NC and was the son of the late Howard Kyles and Antha Little Kyles. He graduated from El Monte High School in California and served in the U.S. Army. On July 11, 1955, he was married to Barbara Byers Kyles in Pasadena, CA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Jeanine Kincaid (Donald) of Statesville, one son, Steve Kyles (Emily) of Statesville, two grandsons, Brandon Johnson (Hope) of Statesville, Ryan Daining of Statesville and two brothers, William Kyles (Joan) of Glendora, CA and Larry Kyles (Cindy) of Statesville. Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Mountain Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from2:00-3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private and at a later date.
