Cecilia Mae Vincent

November 28, 1984 — September 16, 2016

Cecilia Mae "CC" Vincent, 31, of Troutman, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 16, 2016, at her home. CC was born in Louisville, KY on November 28, 1984, and was the daughter of Cynthia Dawn Gibson Vincent. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School class of 2003 and attended NC State University. She was formerly employed with Care First Animal Hospital in Raleigh where she worked as a vet tech. CC loved and trusted her animals as much as anyone outside her family. She loved sports and whatever the season sport was, she would be involved. She was very active in school activities and clubs and her senior year, served as Class President and graduated with honors. Through all of her extracurricular activities, nothing was more important that her family and friends. She believed that no matter what you engaged in, leave it all on the field. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Claywell. Left to cherish the memory of CC is her mother, Cynthia Vincent of the home and her grandmother, Eva Mae Claywell of Statesville, her Godmother, Rhonda Thomas of Statesville and her K9 friend, Davie Jones and feline friend, Purdy Boy. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2016, at Western Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Spry officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Rescue Ranch, Inc. Attn: Development Department, P.O. Box 5998, Statesville, NC 28687. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.nicholsonfunerals.com and Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Cecilia "CC" Vincent.
