Cecile Nanarle Masters

Mrs. Cecile Nanarle Clanton Masters, 74, of Statesville, passed away, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Mrs. Masters was born June 21, 1943 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Katy Clanton Privette. She was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School, class of 1962 and on May 1, 1965, she was married to Jones Issadore Masters, who survives of the home. She was of the Baptist faith and had previously worked for Woolworths and Sears. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Joan Masters of Statesville and a son, Keith Masters of the home. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Clanton. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
