Carroll Mcmahan

LEXINGTON-Mr. Carroll McMahan, 80, of Lexington, NC passed away at his home on October 2, 2021. The son of the late Samuel Lawson and Maggie Phillips McMahan, Mr. McMahan was born on July 28, 1941 in Swain County, NC and worked in the furniture business for 45 years, most recently with Stickley Furniture. Upon retirement, Carroll loved to fish, go boat riding, riding his motorcycle, and working in his yard. In addition to his parents, Mr. McMahan is preceded in death by four brothers Cecil, Lomer, Fred, and Alfred McMahan. Left to cherish his memories are his son Eric Dwayne McMahan (Darla) of Lexington, daughter Sherri Cox (Monty) of Archdale, sister Helen McMahan of Sophia, two brothers Harold Dean McMahan of Sophia and Everette McMahan of Sophia, three grandchildren Kathy Cohan (Dominick) of Lexington, Zachariah McMahan of Lexington, and Jonathan McMahan of Lexington, four great-grandchildren Jazmyn Cohan, Ariel Cohan, Brody McMahan, and Abel Leftwich (all of Lexington), and Frances Waller of Archdale. A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 23 at 305 Shoreline Drive, Lexington, NC 27292.
