Carolyn Sue Williams

Carolyn Sue Bost Williams, 65, of Statesville, entered into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born March 10, 1950 in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late James Clay Bost, Sr. and Ruth Mae Brewer Bost. She attended Iredell County Schools and was disability retired. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her lifetime companion George Carlyle Maine, Jr. Survivors include a son, Ricky Dale Massey, Sr., of Statesville, a daughter, Tonda Sue Claytor (Billy) of Rockwell, N.C., two brothers, Thomas Dale Bost and Gary Allen Bost both of Statesville, a sister, Patsy Ruth Marlowe(Ed) of Statesville. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Ricky Massey, Jr., Billy, Christina and Joshua Claytor, 1 great grandchild: Lucas Claytor along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Claytor officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Condolences may be sent online to the family to www.nicholsonfunerals.com.
