Carolyn Joann Miller

Mrs. Carolyn Joann Miller Miller, 87, of Statesville, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at Autumn Care of Statesville. Born in Catawba County on February 14, 1931, she was a daughter of the late James Ervin Miller and Sarah Etta Miller Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Reginald Miller on August 3, 1973. She was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church and was a retired CNA from Statesville Village. She loved her family and was an outstanding cook.



Survivors include her sons, Randy Miller (Silvia) and Ricky Miller (Barbara) all of Statesville along with three grandchildren: Chad Miller, Johanna Ashley and Khristy Boring, two step grandchildren: Sonja- Marie Corbitt and Leslie-Ann Roberts along with nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Aileen Pierce of Statesville.



Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Cove officiating. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
