Carolyn Bailey Ford, 79, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025

Carolyn was born on February 14, 1946 in Cornelius, North Carolina to the late Carl Bailey and Kathleen Harding Bailey. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Carolyn had a passion for cooking, and her kitchen was a place of comfort and love, where family and friends gathered to share meals and memories. She also found great joy in working in her yard, tending to her flowers. Her love for nature and nurturing spirit could be seen in every flower she cared for. Carolyn's presence brought light and love to those around her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Bailey and Kathleen Baily, husband, John Clanton , husband, John Ford. Son, John Carl Clanton, brothers, Ted Paxton and Bob Paxton, sisters, Mary Gibson and Brenda Helms.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Clanton; granddaughter, Angel Freeze; grandson, John Freeze; sister, Ann Osbourne; great grandchildren, Skylar, Poindexter and Bradyn Freeze.
