Carla Mcdaniels

Mrs. Carla Ann Haynes McDaniels, 49, of Union Grove, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Iredell Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. McDaniels was born in Iredell County on October 20, 1964 and was the daughter of Larry Randell Haynes and the late Linda Ruth Rachels. She attended Iredell County Schools and on November 28, 1980, she married Timmie Rick McDaniels, who survives. Mrs. McDaniels was employed with Lowes Hardware as a sales associate. She was a strong woman who traded her cancer in for angel wings. She loved her grandchildren, working in flower gardens, and she was a lover of animals, especially her dogs. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by twin granddaughters, Mackenzie and Bailey McDaniels, paternal grandparents, Lillie and Harding Haynes and maternal grandparents, Lula and Carl Rachels.
