Butch Roll

Brandon "Butch" Russell Roll, 48, of Harmony, passed away at his residence Thursday, September 5, 2013. He was born in Bristol, Tennessee on August 6, 1965 to the late Harold Lloyd Roll and Frankie Barr Roll Godbey. Butch graduated from North Iredell High School and attended Mitchell College. He was self-employed as an appliance repair person. On August 2, 2013, he married Connie Hall Miller, who survives. Their marriage was short but the love will last a life time Mr. Roll is survived by his wife, Connie; his mother Frankie Godbey (Lee); his sons, Brice and Hayden Roll, all of Statesville; a step-son, Colson Miller; and a step-daughter Julia Miller. He further survived by two brothers, Ken Roll (Lynette), of Newton and Randy Roll, of Conover. Funeral services for Butch Roll will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hunter officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 2 - 3:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visions Out Reach Ministry, 524 E.
