Brenda Sue Maiden Hodge

Brenda Sue Maiden Hodge, age 63, of High Point, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at High Point Regional Medical Center. Born on December 16, 1959, in Allen County (Fort Wayne), IN., she was the daughter of Dora Christine Inman Slack and the late John Lewis Maiden, Sr. Brenda was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church in High Point.

In addition to her father, John Lewis Maiden, Sr., she was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Murray; and her sister, Beverly Pacheco. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Lester Murray; grandchildren, Kytonna Yvon Murray and Kennedy Arphai; her siblings, William (Becky) Maiden, Lewis Maiden, Sally Bassett (Mark), John Lewis Maiden, Jr., Raymond (Rose) Maiden, Julie (Ron) Long, Dora Christine (Mike) Turner, and George Siler Maiden; and her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of her Life will be held, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 am at Gospel Way Baptist Church in High Point.
