Brenda Mcdade

If you knew Brenda, you don't need to read this obituary to know how wonderful and amazing she was. You don't need a list of organizations she belonged to, not the hobbies she enjoyed. She wrote her obituary each day she lived and by each life she touched. She was a tiny woman with the spirit of a warrior. Brenda never saw obstacles only ways to overcome them. She was endurance and patience, strength and loyalty, creativity and beauty. Brenda's was a life of joy and happiness, a life that changed those around her. Family and friends know that she was welcome into Heaven with "well done thy good and faithful servant." She will be missed by all who knew her. Brenda is survived by her husband, James D. McDade; one brother, Tom West; one daughter, Patti Gilreath and husband Kenny; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Rankin. Her stepchildren, Doug McDade and wife Susan, Dawn Weese and husband Greg, and Jeffrey McDade also survive. She is further survived by Aunts Faye White and Doris Wooten along with all her Wooten and West relatives and dear friends. Funeral services for Mrs. McDade will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Rev. Cowles Bristol, Jr. and Olin Isenhour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bethlehem UMC. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
