Mrs. Bonnie Gail Dyson Cook, 54, of Statesville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Forsyth Regional Medical Center. Born in Iredell County on May 14, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Andrew Dyson and Geneva Hamm Dyson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Dyson and a sister, Ethel Hollar. Bonnie was a member of Barker's Grove Baptist Church, was a former Sunday School Teacher and worked at Wall Mart for 21 years. She loved her grandchildren and was an accomplished cook. On March 16, 1979, she married Dale Cook who survives. Also surviving are daughters: Marie Harris (Shane), Angela Belcher (James) and Cindy Campbell (Mack), brothers, Roger Dyson (Tammy Cloer) and Stanley Dyson (Linda) and sisters: Mary Hooper (Michael and Alice Dyson. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren. Services celebrating Bonnie's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Talmadge Hollar and Rev. Keith Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Condolences may be sent online to the family to www.nicholsonfunerals.com.
