Bobby Lee Cook, 85, of Fort Mill and formerly of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at the Monroe Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NC. Mr. Cook was born in Iredell County on July 26, 1932, and was the son of the late William J. Cook and Ruth Gregory Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Faulkner Cook, his brother, Billy Joe Cook, sister-in-law, Brenda Cook and a sister, Joyce Creedmore. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Beth Vaughan (Steve) and grandson, Justin Vaughan, all of Fort Mill, SC and one brother, Donnie Cook (Glenda) of Statesville. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Donald Creedmore of Statesville and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services honoring the life of Bobby Cook will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
