Bobby Joe Wood

Bobby Joe Wood, 58, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at his home. He was born July 6, 1959 and was the son of the late Jack Wood and Patsy Ruth Journey Wood. Bobby attended Iredell County Schools and he was a self-employed car salesman. Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, and a friend to many. He will be truly missed. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Barker. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Taylor Nicole Wood along with two granddaughters, Jayda and Taleigh Wood and his K-9 companion, Tootsie Roll. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2017, starting at 2 PM until 4 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
