Bob Parsons

Mr. Robert Glenn "Bob" Parsons, 58, of Harmony, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Parsons was born July 6, 1953 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Robert Alexander Parsons and Janice Summers Parsons Garratte. He was a graduate of Mabank High School in TX and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. On April 3, 1999, he was married to Dianne Wall Parsons, who survives. Mr. Parsons was a member of Christ Boulevard UMC and he was employed with Intercraft Ind. and J.C. Penny Logistics. In addition to his parents, Mr. Parsons was preceded in death by a step-son, Joseph Shawn Davis. Mr. Parsons is survived by his wife, Dianne W. Parsons of the home, two sons, Robert Conan Charles Parsons "Bobby" of Olin and Zachary Groom of Mabank, TX along with one step-son, Shannon Davis and wife Michelle of Harmony. A memorial service will be conducted 6:30 pm Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Doub officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
