Billie Kilpatrick Taylor

Mrs. Billie K. Taylor, 79, of Statesville, gained her wings and went to Heaven on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was born in Iredell County on May 28, 1939 to the late Eugene Kilpatrick and Pauline Tucker Waugh Kilpatrick. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bob Taylor, a sister, Brenda McLain and a son-in-law, Andy Daniels.



Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Teresa Daniels, Katie Gwaltney, Susan Browning (Rocky) and Robbie Taylor. She had 6 grandchildren: Jonathan Browning (Gwen), Klent Gwaltney, Maddie Browning, Ronald Browning (Tara), Chase Gwaltney, Andrea Daniels along with 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.



Billie enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bob and family. She loved working in her flower beds, playing cards, shopping and baking cakes. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.



Services celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at South River Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Campbell officiating. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.



Active Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Browning, Ronald Browning, Klent Gwaltney, Ernie Taylor, Andy Taylor and Tim Bost. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chase Gwaltney, Riley Browning, Pete Price, Doug Bess, Andy Lopez and Jeremy Lockman.
