Betty Jo White

Mrs. Betty Jo Stamper White, 62, of Cleveland, NC passed away on Sunday, Nov 28 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA.

Born in Harlan, KY on Jan. 9, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Everette Jones and Hester Watts Jones.

On April 6, 2001 she married Tommy White, III and together they shared 20 years of marriage before his passing on Aug 24, 2021.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Chuck Stamper.

Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Greg Jones (Lisa) and Johnny Jones (Tanya) along with two nieces, Kristina Jones (Chris Miles) and Bailey Tucker (Zerod) and three nephews, Issac Jones (Leah), John Jones, and Jacob Williams. Two great-nephews, Allen and Michael Miles also survive.

A gathering of friends and family is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec 1, from 3:00 until 4:30 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
