Bernice Beckham Dagenhart

Bernice Beckham Dagenhart, of Statesville, left this earth on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 to dance on the streets of gold.

Bernice was born in Iredell County to the late Mae Beckham. She was also preceded in death by her son, Keith Elliott, a sister, Joanne Holland and a brother, Roy Beckham.

Bernice will be remembered for her beautiful smile and vibrant personality.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wayne Dagenhart, two daughters, Penny Goodin (Dean), Wendy Wooten (Kelvin), a son, Scotty Elliott, two beautiful granddaughters, Kirby Goodin and Paige Wooten and two very special pooches, Cocoa and Bobo.

A gathering honoring her life and a balloon release will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm on the front lawn of Penny and Dean Goodin's home at 337 Laurel Creek Road, Statesville. The family requests you bring lawn chairs and honor social distancing guidelines. Please wear bright colors to reflect Bernice's bright personality. Guests may share a memory of Bernice at the gathering if they wish.
