Benjamin Patrick Link, Iii

Mr. Benjamin Patrick Link, III., 76, of Statesville, died August 7, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, N.C, Born in Catawba County on January 29, 1947. He was a son of the late Benjamin Patrick Link, Jr. and Norma Allison Link. He was an electrical engineer for Duke Power. He enjoyed ham radios, motorcycles, chess and explored and studied various religions as a result of his love of the Lord.

Survivors include a daughter, Allison Gennusa, grandchildren, Joseph Colby Carter (Crystal) and Jake Matthew Ripp along with great grandchildren: Lena Jane Carter and Joseph Elias Carter. Also surviving is his former wife, Jeffrey Lynn Cornett (Richard).

Funeral services were private. For those who prefer, memorials may be given to Colonial Capital Humane Society, 1860 Old Airport Rd., New Bern, N.C. 218562.
