Becky Helms

Rebecca Foard Helms, 52, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Maple Leaf Health Care following an extended illness. Ms. Helms was born July 4, 1959 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Sallie Dillard Foard and the late James H. Foard. She attended Iredell County schools, was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Tabernacle. In addition to her mother, Ms. Helms is survived by three sisters, Linda F. Crider (Steve), Barbara F. Haithcox (Randy) and Jeannie Deal (Mike) along with one brother, James Houston Foard, Jr. (Diane), all of Statesville. She is also survived by 10 nephews, Michael, Adam, Albert, Ethan, David, Matt, Johnny, Craig, Josh and Jaxon and two nieces, Erin and Angel. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Helms will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, March 25, 2012 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Miller officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will visit with friends following the service.
