Barbara Ann Bragg

Barbara Ann Hall Bragg, 70, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born in Bellburn, West Virginia on October 2, 1946 to the late Lawrence F. and Armada Pitsenbarger Hall. Mrs. Bragg attended Greenbriar County Schools in West Virginia and on June 15, 1965 married Michael David Bragg. They shared over 51 years of marriage before her passing. She worked in manufacturing most of her career. Barbara was a very unselfish person who considered others before herself. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike; a son, Michael D. Bragg, Jr. (Pam) of Cleveland, NC; a daughter, Melissa Russnak (Brian) of Stony Point, NC; three grandchildren, David (Tonya), Dillon, and Tara Bragg; two great grandchildren, Brison and Wyatt Bragg; and two sisters, Donna Pugh (Wayne) and Dreama Bennett (Frank), both of Rainelle, West Virginia. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Horizon Church, 316 Signal Hill Drive, Statesville, NC with Pastor Charles Williams officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the church. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
