Arthur Ralph Kennedy

Mr. Arthur Ralph Kennedy, 87, of Catawba, NC passed away, Monday, March 13, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Kennedy was born April 5, 1929 in Iredell County to the late Arthur Ferrell Kennedy and Emma Lou Mills Kennedy. He was a graduate of Troutman High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from J.C. Penney Warehouse after 29 years and was a member of the local Statesville VFW. Mr. Kennedy is survived by three sisters, Louise K. Orren, Lorene K. Campbell, Rachel K. Ketchie all of Statesville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Ray Kennedy and two sisters, Lois K. Troutman and Hazel K. Williams. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will visit with friends following the service.
