Annie Southers White

Mrs. Annie Southers White, 93, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born January 16, 1924 in Wilkes County, she was a beloved daughter of the late Kelly Southers and Della Mae Privette Southers. She was married to the late Clarence T. White, Sr. who preceded her in death. She worked in textiles and loved working in her flowers. If anyone had a green thumb, it was her. She is survived by her son, Clarence T. White, Jr. and his wife, Sally, three grandchildren: Elizabeth White Green (David), Susan White Johnson (Brian) and Sarah White Rawls (Mark) and her great grandchildren: Sara Beth Johnson, Brendan Johnson, Meredith Johnson, Sydney Rawls and Mason Rawls. She is also survived by one brother, Jack Southers and many nephews and nieces. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday May 29, 2017 at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Spry officiating.
