Anna Lee Harris

Anna Lee Rimmer Harris, 89, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on November 26, 1926 to the late Conner Shuford Rimmer and Cora Sue Lippard. Mrs. Harris was educated in the Statesville City Schools. She was in the furniture industry most of her career retiring from Orbit Industries after many years of service as a seamstress. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Gail Lamb and two grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Wendell Myers (Debra) and Burley Myers; three daughters, Tammy McElfresh (John), Teresa Moreland (Kevin), and Vickie Morton (Chris); 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Eanes officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
