Ann Payne Burch

Ann Payne Burch, 80, of Statesville, died Tuesday at Rosewood Assisted Living in Harmony. Born in Ashe County on March 26, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Opheal Payne. She was a member of Northview Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. She loved children and gospel bluegrass music. She was very active in her church.



Survivors include three sons, Mark Burch (Colleen), Greg Burch and Gerald Burch all of Statesville, two grandchildren, Mark Alexander Burch and Matthew Tyler Burch, two sisters, Pauline Norris (Bobby) and Chris Courier (Chuck) and a brother Kenneth Miller. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.



Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 11 :00 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Pharr officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
