Angie Renee Jordan

Mrs. Angie Dixon Jordan, 44, of Hiddenite, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center. Angie was born November 30, 1971, in Millington, TN and was the daughter of James and Teressa Bruce Meador. She was a graduate of Iredell County Schools and on September 5, 1998, she married Richard Eugene Jordan, who survives. She was of the Baptist faith and was employed with Wal-Mart in Taylorsville. Along with her husband, Richard, and her parents, James and Teressa Meador, she is survived by two sons, Nick and Nate Jordan along with a granddaughter, Kylie Jordan. She is also survived by her grandmother, Aline Bruce; one sister, Tonya Meador and one brother, Chris Meador (Christy); her father and mother-in-law, Sam and Lona Jordan and a sister-in-law Tammy Redmond (Jonathan) and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a special niece, Kirsten Castro along with her best friend, Teresa Benge. Funeral services celebrating the life of Angie Jordan will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, April 25, 2016, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bright Light Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
