Angela Ward Hartness

Angela Ward Hartness, 57, of Statesville died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Iredell County on March 16, 1965, to the late Howard Ward, Jr. and Garnell Weatherman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Ward.

Angela loved going to the beach, scrapbooking, tending her flowers, going out to eat and riding motorcycles. More than anything, she loved her family especially spending time with her grandbabies.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 33 years, Bob Hartness, two sons, Brian Truitt, Ethan Hartness, a daughter, Kristin Blumenstein, daughter-in-law, Shana Truitt, three grandchildren, Madysen West, Lillie Truitt, Savannah Truitt, a great-grandson, Silas West, two brothers, Franklin Ward (Caroline), Howard Curtis Ward, and sister, Tammy Fowler (Blane).

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Blane Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service.
