Angela "Angie" Faylene Sharpe

Angela "Angie" Faylene Sharpe, age 45, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House surrounded by her family. Born on July 3, 1977, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late William Walter Waugh and Linda Beasley Waugh.

Angie loved traveling to Cherokee with her family. She had a passion for playing BINGO and listening to Country music. Angie was a loving mother, sister and fianc who cherished spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, William Walter Waugh and Linda Beasley Waugh, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Waugh. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kelsey Waugh, Wesley Sharpe, Dustin Sharpe, and Faith Waugh; her loving and devoted fianc of 17 years, Charlie Jones; stepson, Jackson Jones; brothers, Randy Waugh, and Richard Waugh; nieces, Briana Waugh and Nicole Waugh; great nephews, Kayden McCleave and Nizaiah Connor; and her beloved pets, Bella, Little Bit, and Minnie.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Living Word Ministries with Pastor James Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm at the church.
