Andrew Charles Deriso

Andrew Charles DeRiso, 95, of Statesville, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Gordon Hospice House.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 9, 1925 to the late Joseph DeRiso and Josephine Miele DeRiso.

Mr. DeRiso retired from the NY State Department of Transportation where he was a supervisor. He was a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He loved to laugh and loved to make people laugh. More than anything, he was a loving husband and father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Anna Bollero DeRiso, a son, Andrew DeRiso (Christina), a daughter, Michele DeRiso, 2 grandchildren, Andrew John DeRiso (Sharisa) and Dillon Joseph DeRiso and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Adriana.

There will be a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Kessler officiating.
