Andremise Seme

Marie Andremise Adelaide Seme, 86, of Statesville, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at home. She was born November 22, 1929, in Port Au Prince, Haiti to the late Poline Paulinice and Eliomise Existe. On April 10, 1947 she married Julice Seme who preceded her in death in 1988. Andremise was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Seme is survived by her children, Edner Seme (Eliette), Anne-Marie Seme (Jacques), Joseph Yves Seme (Marie-Carmelle Delphin), Jean Marcel Seme (Claire Fils-aime), and Marie G. Seme (Gary). Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, Guerda Seme (Etzer Neptune), John Seme (Ginette Nozile), Jimmy Seme, Edner Junior Seme (Tiesha), Stacy Seme Etienne, Marjory Seme, Nathalie A, Achab Seme, Frank Junior Seme, Djyna Seme, Bedjina Seme, Marvin Seme, O'Neal Seme, Jovensky Seme, Christal Seme, Britney Seme, and Eric Seme. There are also 11 great-grandchildren, Chris Neptune, John Kenny Seme, Nathaniel Seme, Marie Jimmerlyne Seme, Marie Flora Seme, Armstrong Schadrac Seme, Jimmerson Hendric Seme, LeLanie Seme, Edler Seme, Ismael Thomas and Frantz Morgan Seme. Funeral services for Mrs. Seme will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:30 am with Father Thomas Kessler officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am prior to the service.
