Amy Snow

Amy Kathleen Rector Snow, 62, of Statesville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, at Brian Center. Mrs. Snow was born August 30, 1952, in Burke County and was the daughter of the late Burlin Rector and Annie Christine Pitts Barbee. She was a graduate of North Iredell High School and she was married to Terry Wayne Deal, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Snow was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and prior to her disability, she was employed with Prudential Insurance. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James William, Stephen Wayne, and Clyde Anthony Rector, a half-brother, Waring Wallace Barbee, Jr. and one sister, Diane Rector Englebert. Mrs. Snow is survived by one son, Joshua Snow of the home and a sister, Yvonne Christine Barbee of Statesville along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Snow will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Rector and Rev. Charles Cook officiating.
