Amber Dawn Murphy Mcknight

Amber Dawn Murphy McKnight, age 29, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Born on November 3, 1992, in Davidson County, NC, Amber was the daughter of Greg Berger and the late Kimberly Dawn Murphy.

Amber was a "good-hearted" woman who had a great sense of humor. She never met a stranger; and one could say people just simply loved her. Amber had a love for music and a passion for singing.

In addition to her mother, Kimberly Dawn Murphy, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lauren Julia Murphy, and her paternal grandmother, Ann Berger. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tanner Bryson Murphy, Nevaeh Ruth Murphy, Bentley Jackson Murphy, Shawn Patrick McKnight, and Johnny Lee Williams; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Leon; father, Gregory Scott Murphy; brother, Timothy Lane Murphy; nieces, Leigha Rose Murphy and Kimberly Florence Riley Murphy; aunt, Lisa Myers; her special cousin, Leann Julia Myers; and several other cousins.

A Celebration of Amber's life will be held at a later date in October.
