Dawn Bingham

Dawn Lynette Poston Bingham, 49, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Mission Hospital. She was born November 12, 1962 in Lumberton, NC to the late Jeanette Sessoms Poston and Donald Edward Poston who survives.

Mrs. Bingham was a High School graduate and a home maker, she was married to James Bingham III who also survives.  

In addition to her father Donald Edward Poston, of Granite Shoals, Texas, and her husband James Bingham III, of San Antonio, Texas, she is survived by a son James Bingham IV, of Milton, FL, a grandson Levi Declan Bingham, of Milton, FL, and a step-mother Peggy Poston, of Granite Shoals, Texas. She is further survived by a sister Ronda Benfield (Randy), of Statesville, NC, a brother Donald Poston II, of Mooresville, NC, a grandmother Dorothy Stewart, of Lumberton, NC, and a step grandfather Robert Stewart, of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by numerous of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Lumberton, NC. A burial will follow at a later date.

    I just happened to stumble upon this while searching for her son (James Bingham). I had a chance to get to know her when I was young. From what I remember, she was a wonderful woman, a caring mother, and worked one of the hardest jobs in the Marine Corps (wife of a Marine).
